Publishing Research

When looking for a journal to publish research in first look for journals that concentrate in fields that the research relates to. Once a journal is found the next step is to look through the other articles that have been submitted to see how those authors have written their articles to see if the research that is to be submitted will fit in. Then, if the research seems to fit well with prior articles, go to their web site and look for the guidelines for submission or authors guidelines. On that page the web site should spell out exactly how the article should be formatted before it is sent in.  A paper is not ready for submission for publication until it has been revised several times as well as proofread. then the article should be changed, if necessary, to match the described format of the journal. This description should be in the authors guidelines page that was fore mentioned. The very last thing to do is to just send it in or upload it depending on the journal. If the research doesn’t make it in the first time that is ok!  As for comments or suggestions from the editors to make the paper better so it can be revised again and submitted again.
